Coq a Vin- May 8, 2010

Aka- "Rooster in Wine" this is a very traditional peasant-style meal that we sometimes make when we have to use up some wine my husband didn't like. It does take about a bottle of wine, so its not a bad use for wine that just didn't taste quite right to you. It is a very simple dish, not quick, but few ingredients and relatively inexpensive. We just used the Joy of Cooking recipe, but they are all fairly similar.
